Summer is a time of socialising and being out and about. Food delivery is not a natural top of mind, as a result these months see the lowest activity on the Deliveroo app.

THE BRIEF Food delivery is not only for home chill. We need to create a simple but clear summer campaign that communicated Deliveroo’s relevance during this period. 

THE IDEA Summer is a time for ease and effortless socialising. Food plays a big part in outdoor social gatherings. But it can be a hassle to organise what to eat in a carefree summer spirit. Getting the food you want, wherever you are this summer is easy with Deliveroo. We've got 'summer in the bag' so you can focus on you and your friends.

SOCIAL FILMS Building brand love the Deliveroo way, we created playful content highlighting summer occasion where we can play a part in your experience. Produced on a shoestring budget, the output was 40 individual edits to rotate across social channels throughout the summer period.

OOH  Working with our in-house illustrator we created a set of social summer scenarios. The bold use of colour coupled with our playful tone of voice resulting in stand-out and distinct presence out and about.

PROMO MECHANIC In addition to the brand activity, a promotional offer giving away treats on orders was live on CRM and national press. With a none existing budget, we organised a shoot on the roof of our office to create the assets.
